In 2014 we were approached by Scott Waugh (Producer of Dust to Glory, Director of Act of Valor) to provide the Caballo Del Diablo for his latest film, Need for Speed.
In this high action thriller the Devil Horse impersonates the Big Oly Ford Bronco fictiously owned by the villain of the plot and used in a mega action chase scene filmed in Moab Utah.
To dress for the part Billy "Jet Boat" Hammon of Action Vehicle Engineering removed the window and frame, added a custom made aluminum wing, and wrapped the Bronco in a "Big Oly-esque" livery. Billy also drove and played the part of one of the villain's henchmen.
Admittedly it was thrilling to go to the theatre opening weekend and see the Devil Horse two stories tall chasing Aaron Paul through the desert...
