To help commemorate our ten-year anniversary, we commissioned renowned artist Troy Lee to design and paint our new Impact Racing helmets. We started with Impact racing's open face helmets with rally intercom system installed. Giving him some basic ideas for the two individual designs Brian opted for the lowrider theme while I started out with crude prison tattoos for inspiration. The master painter went to work sketching out ideas directly on our blank helmets while we watched. Several weeks later we saw the finished helmets for the first time only hours before taking the green flag for the 2019 Mexican 1000. Satin black with hand-detailed images in white all around on mine with the number 26 on top in gold leaf. Brian's candy apple lowrider graphics are deep gloss and there is even a "McGrath" wing installed on the back. We are truly honored to wear these masterpieces!
